In short
- Zero tolerance. There is no place in the realm for objectionable content or abusive players. Offensive names are removed, and players who break these rules are removed from the arena or deleted.
- Report and block. Report or block any player from their card, the ladder, your fight history or a friendly lobby. We act on reports within 24 hours.
- Play fair. No cheating, automation or exploiting bugs.
These terms are between you and Zinance Inc., which makes Rest & Quest. They add the realm's rules to Apple's standard licence (EULA), which covers your use of the app. The app asks you to agree to both before you play, and again whenever these terms change.
Objectionable content and abusive players
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive players. Objectionable content is anything hateful, sexual, threatening, harassing or rude, including hero names, and impersonating another player. Abuse is harassing, threatening or cheating against other players.
- Hero names are checked against a list of offensive words when they are chosen.
- A name several players report as offensive is hidden at once until we review it.
- We review every report within 24 hours. A player who breaks these rules is renamed, removed from the arena or has their account deleted, without warning.
Fair play
- Choose a hero name others would be happy to see, and don't impersonate other players.
- Don't cheat: no modified apps, scripts or automation, and no exploiting bugs to gain levels, items or rating.
- Don't use the game to harass anyone.
Reports and blocks
You can report a player from their opponent card, the ladder, your fight history or a friendly lobby, and block them so you never meet in ranked or friendly duels. Blocked players are listed in Settings, where you can unblock them.
Your hero
Your progress is stored on our server and tied to your device. Make a recovery code in Settings to move your hero to a new phone. Items, gold and ratings are part of the game: they have no money value and can't be sold or traded outside it. The game is free and has no purchases.
The service
We keep improving the game, so features, balance and content change. We do our best to keep the realm running, but it is provided as it is, and it may be down at times. If the game ever closes, we will say so in the app first.
